Arizona State University has long taken action in shaping Arizona’s energy future. In the next iteration of this endeavor, Gary Dirks, director of LightWorks, the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability and the Algae Testbed Public-Private Partnership (ATP3) at Arizona State University, has been named a member of the Governor’s State Energy Advisory Board.
The Algae Testbed Public Private Partnership (ATP3) was recently highlighted in an Algae Industry Magazine article for their series of specialized industry workshops. The ATP3 workshops welcome professionals, students and other interested individuals to learn about an array of algae-related topics by hands-on activities that links theory to practice. The workshops are organized to provide educational, training, and networking opportunities to push the algae industry forward.
