The second Arizona Solar Summit took place on March 26 and 27, 2012 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. With over 200 people registered to attend, this event gathered policy makers, industry, researchers, attorneys and a number of other folks to participate in a robust discussion that focused on the theme, "Breaking Through the Barriers to a Solar Future in the Southwest."
The first Arizona Solar Summit held on August 2 and 3, 2011 at the University of Phoenix Stadium brought together more than 120 people from 70 different organizations to advance the solar energy industry on a national and regional scale. The Summit launched the building of a network designed to address specific challenges that, if met, will propel Arizona to national prominence in the solar energy market.
